John Trapp grew up in Tuscumbia, Alabama and attended Vanderbilt University. (He will be quick to inform you that Vanderbilt maintains an all-time winning record against UT in football games...2-1...but still!) After graduating from Vanderbilt in 2007, John married his college sweetheart Chrissy, an Austin, TX native. Chrissy worked as an RUF intern at NC State. Afterwards, the two of them moved to Houston, TX where John served as a youth pastor at Christ the King Presbyterian church for 6 years. John recently finished his seminary degree at Redeemer Theological Seminary in Austin and graduated in May, 2016. The Trapps have three children - Owen (5), Lucy (3), and Georgia (2) and one more on the way. Some common family activities include talking, reading, dancing, golfing, and eating Chick-fil-a.
