All Saints desires to be a church who cares well for both the present and future needs of the many children God has entrusted to us – nurturing and sustaining them as they grow in Christ. In the gospels, Jesus says that everything God desires us to be, as both children and adults, is summed up by these two commandments: “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
This love is formed through worship, in the midst of relationships, and by serving those in need. We want to provide our children with opportunities to worship, to form life-giving relationships of mutual joy, and give themselves away in service to others in childlike ways – the ways of Jesus’ kingdom.
One-third of All Saints’ growing congregation is under the age of 12! And, fittingly, as we look forward to moving into our new church home, one-third of the campus is dedicated for ministry to children. We are excited to see the multitude of ways the Lord will develop this ministry into a primary means by which our children grow to know the Lord their God and love him with all their being. To that end, we are currently seeking the person the Lord has who will lead and direct this vital, exciting, and ever-expanding part of our church’s life and ministry.
