All Saints at the Table
“To those of us who believe that all of life is sacred, every crumb of bread and sip of wine is a Eucharist, a remembrance, a call to awareness of holiness right where we are.” —Shauna Niequist, Bread and Wine: A Love Letter to Life Around the Table
All Saints is organizing an evening to gather in homes across neighborhoods of Austin and enjoy a meal together.
The next "All Saints at the Table" will take place Sunday, October 25 with a special pandemic twist... it is outdoors in backyards and front porches and in smaller groups.
Hospitality is one of the ten spiritual formation practices All Saints has adopted as a church.
All Saints at the Table marries our love for hospitality and joy in community by connecting neighbors in our church for a meal. Host families will open their homes and share a meal with other All Saints members to build new relationships, reach out to a new neighbor and nurture community within our church body.
This year because of gathering restrictions we are asking all hosts to please be able to provide an outdoor space to host. You can choose to use tables and chairs or ask guests to bring picnic blankets.
Group sizes are currently limited to 10 participants per Stage 3 guidelines for the City of Austin.
See below for more on what to expect as a guest or a host. If you have any further questions, email Jen Heininger.
